Soccer Recap: King Takes a Loss

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the London Pirates, falling 12-1. While losing is never fun, the Brahmas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 788th, while the Pirates are ranked 223rd).

King's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for London, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1-1.

King will square off against Rockport-Fulton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for London, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ingleside at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th.
