Baseball Recap: Blue Earth Takes a Loss

Blue Earth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 21-5 to the Fairmont Cardinals. If the Buccaneers were looking for revenge after losing 8-1 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Peyton O'Hara was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Blue Earth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fairmont, the win was the sixth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Blue Earth will venture away from home to take on New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fairmont, they will challenge Redwood Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
