Baseball Recap: Del Sol Comes Up Short

Del Sol lost against Cheyenne last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Del Sol Dragons lost 18-3 to the Cheyenne Desert Shields. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Del Sol saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Sanchez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Del Sol now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Cheyenne, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Looking ahead, Del Sol will be taking part in a tournament against Liberty Baptist Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cheyenne, they will take on Pinecrest Academy Cadence in a tournament on Monday. Cheyenne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.6 runs per game this season.
