Meanwhile, Carver A&T made easy work of Western Tech & Environmental Science on Friday and carried off a 5-1 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Carver A&T's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Western Tech & Environmental Science are ranked 157th).

Carver A&T's victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
