Basketball Recap: Springfield Renaissance's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Springfield Renaissance extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Sy'Nye Baker. Springfield Renaissance blew past the Ludlow Lions 81-20 on Tuesday thanks in part to Baker, who posted 20 points along with five assists and four steals. Her evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Zh'Nai Wallace, who put up eight points and three steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Springfield Renaissance's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 59 points. As for Ludlow, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Springfield Renaissance will challenge Franklin County Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Springfield Renaissance knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Franklin County Tech likes a good challenge. As for Ludlow, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Ludlow Lions take on the Pioneer Valley Regional Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ludlow is facing Pioneer Valley Regional at the right time seeing as Pioneer Valley Regional is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
