Volleyball Recap: Regent Prep Takes a Loss

Regent Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Rejoice Christian Eagles. Regent Prep was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Rejoice Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Regent Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Rejoice Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Regent Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe Metro Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rejoice Christian will challenge rival Victory Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Conquerors a six-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
