Wellington put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars with a sharp 28-4 victory. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 24 points or more this season.

Wellington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mia Ciezak and Rebecca Quintero. Quintero has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last three times she's played.

Wellington pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-1.

Wellington has already played their next match, a 21-0 victory against Jensen Beach on the 13th. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 44-0 win against Boca Raton on the 13th.
