Basketball Game Preview: North Thurston Rams vs. Lincoln Abes

North Thurston hasn't had much luck against Lincoln recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The North Thurston Rams will face off against the Lincoln Abes at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with five losses in a row dating back to last season, North Thurston turned things around against Mount Tahoma on Monday. They secured a 58-54 W over the T-Birds.

North Thurston's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Micah Anderson, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. Those 16 points gave Anderson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastian Galvan, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Lincoln posted their biggest victory since January 19th on Monday. They blew past Lakes 87-58.

North Thurston's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lincoln, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

North Thurston came up short against Lincoln when the teams last played back in January, falling 68-64. Can North Thurston avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
