Softball Recap: Charlestown Pirates vs. Henryville Hornets

In what's become a running theme this season, Charlestown gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They never let the Henryville Hornets onto the board and left with an 11-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Charlestown also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Hannah Burns was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Burns was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with a triple, two RBI, and a run.

In other batting news, Charlestown let Addison Smith and Aubree Latham loose on the outfield. Smith scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Latham went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.
