After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Windsor, Windsor was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the East Hartford Hornets. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Windsor walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-20.

Windsor can attribute much of their success to Laila Ly, who had seven digs and three aces. Tegan McGraw also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Windsor was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They are 9-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Windsor's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for East Hartford, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Windsor has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Edwin O. Smith on the 9th. As for East Hartford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Glastonbury on the 8th.
