Baseball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for New Hope-Solebury

While New Hope-Solebury didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lower Moreland 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory New Hope-Solebury has posted since May 9, 2024.

Anthony Whelan made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Whelan was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Lucas Kevorkian was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Joel Carmenini was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
