Football Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Skyline lost against Monroe back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles took a 20-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. While the Eagles had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Trojans 13-7.

When it comes to explaining why Skyline lost, don't look at Isaac Skadsem. Despite the final result, he threw for 149 yards and one TD, and also punched in one score on the ground.

This is the second loss in a row for Skyline and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Monroe, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Skyline is set to take on their familiar foe Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Monroe will face off against rival Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
