Basketball Recap: Fresno Warriors vs. Roosevelt Rough Riders
Fresno lost against Roosevelt two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Fresno Warriors lost to the Roosevelt Rough Riders on the road by a 66-48 margin. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 624th, while the Rough Riders are ranked 278th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roosevelt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cobi Posas, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. Darreon Wheaton was another key player, putting up ten points and eight assists.
Fresno now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Roosevelt, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.
