Meanwhile, Homer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Kenai Central, falling 7-1. Homer were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Homer's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Grace Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
