Basketball Game Preview: Honesdale Hornets vs. Dunmore Bucks

Honesdale is 1-6 against Dunmore since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Honesdale Hornets will host the Dunmore Bucks at 6:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Honesdale is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Friday. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-28 heartbreaker at the hands of Mid Valley. The match marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Dunmore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 79-39 defeat at the hands of Holy Cross. While losing is never fun, the Bucks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Crusaders are ranked 31st).

Dunmore's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Honesdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
