Volleyball Game Preview: Southeast Lauderdale Tigers vs. Northeast Lauderdale Trojans

Southeast Lauderdale hasn't had much luck against Northeast Lauderdale recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will take on the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a proper cat-fight when Southeast Lauderdale took on Meridian on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Northeast Lauderdale lost 3-0 to Union on Tuesday.

Northeast Lauderdale couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Union a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 31-29, 25-19.

Southeast Lauderdale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Northeast Lauderdale, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Southeast Lauderdale came up short against Northeast Lauderdale in their previous matchup back in August of 2022, falling 2-0. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
