Volleyball Recap: Hatch Valley Has No Trouble Against Animas

Hatch Valley won the last time they faced Animas and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bears walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Bears this season.

Hatch Valley was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 23-25, 25-22, 25-14.

Hatch Valley moved to 4-7 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak. As for Animas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Hatch Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Ruidoso on the 13th. As for Animas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Magdalena at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
