Basketball Recap: Worcester Comes Up Short

Worcester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 64-28 loss at the hands of the Duanesburg Eagles. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-17.

Worcester's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Duanesburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Worcester will take on Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Duanesburg has already played their next game (against Middleburgh), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
