The matchup between Broad Run and Loudoun Valley on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Spartans blew past the Vikings 6-2. The matchup was close at halftime, but Broad Run turned on the heat in the second half with four goals.

Broad Run picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-1-2. As for Loudoun Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-1 record this season.
