Basketball Game Preview: Otis Bulldogs vs. Hi-Plains Patriots

Having just played yesterday, the Otis Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Hi-Plains Patriots at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Otis was able to grind out a solid victory over Arickaree, taking the game 49-41. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hi-Plains, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 41-34 victory over Flagler on Friday.

Otis now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Hi-Plains, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Otis didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hi-Plains when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 41-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Otis since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
