Softball Recap: Pioneer Valley Regional Takes a Loss

If Pioneer Valley Regional was riding high fresh off their 22-5 takedown of Mahar Regional on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Hopkins Academy Golden Hawks on Monday, falling 22-3. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Golden Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pioneer Valley Regional saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaelyn Boliski, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Pioneer Valley Regional now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Hopkins Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Pioneer Valley Regional will head out on the road to square off against Sabis International at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hopkins Academy, they will square off against Mahar Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
