Soccer Game Preview: Barbe vs. Alexandria

The Barbe Buccaneers are taking a road trip to challenge the Alexandria Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barbe knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Alexandria likes a good challenge.

Barbe's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on St. Louis Catholic with a sharp 4-0 victory. Barbe might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Alexandria was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against Baton Rouge, falling 4-0. Alexandria haven't had much luck with Baton Rouge recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Alexandria now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Barbe, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went Barbe's way against Alexandria in their previous meeting back in January, as Barbe made off with a 6-1 win. Will the Buccaneers repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
