Football Recap: Episcopal Takes a Loss

The matchup between Episcopal and Ascension Catholic on Friday hardly resembled the 14-7 effort from their previous meeting. The Knights took a 49-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 14-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Episcopal dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Ascension Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Episcopal will head out on the road to face off against Baker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ascension Catholic, they will welcome Ascension Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
