Santa Fe Trail entered their tilt with Chapman on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Chapman Irish 66-30. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for the Chargers this season.

Chapman's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jed Moody, who posted eight points.

Santa Fe Trail's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Chapman, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
