Erie won the last time they faced Bluestem, and Reid Duff did his part to make sure it happened again. The Erie Red Devils took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 72-28 win over the Bluestem Lions thanks in part to Duff, who went 16 of 21 to rack up 36 points and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Erie's points.

The victory made it two in a row for Erie and bumps their season record up to 6-9. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to field goal percentage: their shooting accuracy was 48.6% in those games and 33.3% outside of them. As for Bluestem, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Looking ahead, Erie will head out on the road to face off against Jayhawk Linn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bluestem, they will be playing at home against Fredonia on Tuesday. Fredonia knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Bluestem likes a good challenge.
