Sanford-Fritch's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Sunray Bobcats. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sanford-Fritch is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. Sunray's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1.
