Softball Recap: Christiansburg Comes Up Short

Christiansburg lost against Staunton River last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blue Demons came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 12-2. The Blue Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christiansburg saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Neel, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Christiansburg now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Staunton River, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Christiansburg will take on Hidden Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Blue Demons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Staunton River, they will challenge Magna Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
