Baseball Game Preview: Rock Hill Bearcats vs. Catawba Ridge Copperheads

For the second straight game, Rock Hill will face off against Catawba Ridge. The Bearcats will take on the Copperheads at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rock Hill is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Rock Hill lost 10-3 to Catawba Ridge on Monday.

Rock Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Brogdon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Brogdon also hit a triple, marking his first of the season.

Catawba Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Rock Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.
