Volleyball Recap: Franklin-Simpson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Franklin-Simpson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Portland Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 3rd.

Franklin-Simpson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19-1. As for Portland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season.

Franklin-Simpson and Portland could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in their respective state rankings. The Wildcats (ranked 210th) will meet Logan County (ranked 70th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Portland will face off against Gallatin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (156 vs. 39).
