Softball Recap: Livingston Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Livingston Academy came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Watertown Purple Tigers by a score of 11-6. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 11-0 victory the Purple Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2021.

Livingston Academy pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Watertown, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10.

As of now, neither Livingston Academy nor the Purple Tigers have any future games scheduled.
