Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goodwin RVT). They came out on top against the Prince RVT Falcons by a score of 81-71 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Gladiators, who suffered a 64-58 loss the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Prince RVT lost, don't look at Jordan Iverson. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 38 points and nine rebounds. Iverson's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmanuel Ikeh, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points and eight boards.

The win got Goodwin RVT back to even at 2-2. As for Prince RVT, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Goodwin RVT will welcome Kaynor Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Prince RVT, they will be playing at home against Amistad at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
