Softball Recap: Wolfe County Takes a Loss

Wolfe County was the 6-4 winner over Knott County Central when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by exactly five runs.

Wolfe County's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Knott County Central, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Patriots beat Wolfe County by a score of 9-4 later that day.
