Volleyball Recap: Midland Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Midland Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Idalou Wildcats. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Midland Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Idalou, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

Midland Classical Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fort Stockton at 6:00 p.m. on September 12. As for Idalou, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Forsan on the 30th.
