Baseball Recap: North Union Takes a Loss

After flying high against Belmond-Klemme on Saturday, North Union came back down to earth. The Warriors fell 9-6 to the Lake Mills Bulldogs on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 on June 9th.

North Union has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Lake Mills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

Coincidentally, North Union and Lake Mills will both be playing Eagle Grove the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Eagles on Tuesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
