Soccer Game Preview: Lansing Christian vs. Bath

The Lansing Christian Pilgrims are taking a road trip to face off against the Bath Fighting Bees at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lansing Christian had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Potterville on Wednesday. The Pilgrims' defense stepped up to hand the Vikings a 6-0 shutout. Lansing Christian haven't had any issues with Potterville recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Bath entered their tilt with Maple Valley on Wednesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Lions. Bath's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Bath pushed their record up to 14-4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Lansing Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7-2.
