Softball Game Preview: Handley Judges vs. Millbrook Pioneers

Handley hasn't had much luck against Millbrook recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Judges will head out to take on the Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. Handley will be strutting in after a victory while Millbrook will be coming in after a defeat.

Handley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Park View with a sharp 23-9 win on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Judges considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Millbrook was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against Brentsville District, falling 7-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pioneers have suffered since April 12, 2024.

Millbrook has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. Handley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8.

Handley suffered a grim 26-0 defeat to Millbrook in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Judges avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
