Volleyball Recap: Bishop Watterson Eagles vs. Bishop Hartley Hawks        
        
		
             It was a Battle of the Birds when  Bishop Watterson faced off against Bishop Hartley on Wednesday. The Bishop Watterson Eagles put the hurt on the Bishop Hartley Hawks with a sharp  3-0 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Eagles.
 While Bishop Watterson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23,  25-14.
 Leading Bishop Watterson to victory were  Ashley Moreland and  Olivia Lane.  Moreland  had six  digs and three  aces, while  Lane  had ten  digs.
 They weren't the only good server: Bishop Watterson  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 15  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 15 consecutive  matches.
 When it comes to explaining why Bishop Hartley lost, don't look at  Karah Omalley. Despite the final result, she  had 13  digs. Omalley is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 13 or more in the last four games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Bishop Watterson is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 15 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record  this season. As for Bishop Hartley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
