Basketball Game Preview: Antelope Titans vs. Del Oro Golden Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Antelope Titans will jump right back in to play the Del Oro Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Antelope has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three games.

If Antelope beats Del Oro with 67 points on Saturday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Titans took down Ponderosa 67-50 on Friday. The Titans pushed the score to 55-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bruins cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Del Oro). They strolled past Roseville with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 75-61. While the Golden Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Antelope pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points over those games. As for Del Oro, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Antelope against Del Oro when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured an 86-50 win. In that contest, the Titans amassed a halftime lead of 42-19, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
