Football Recap: Valley Stream Central Comes Up Short

Valley Stream Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 42-13 loss at the hands of the New Hyde Park Memorial Gladiators. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 29-0 to the Gladiators when the teams met back in October of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valley Stream Central's record now sits at 0-3. As for New Hyde Park Memorial, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Valley Stream Central will host Baldwin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Hyde Park Memorial, they will head out on the road to challenge Long Beach on Saturday.
