Baseball Game Preview: King Wolves vs. Santiago Sharks

For the second straight game, King will face off against Santiago. The Wolves will welcome the Sharks at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, King turned things around against Santiago on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Sharks a 4-0 shutout.

Not much got past Jason Jones, who gave up just four hits to keep Santiago off the board. Jones also tossed a walk, which is notable because King is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-10 otherwise.

On the hitting side, King saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madden Ferreira, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Ferreira has posted since back in February.

King's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Santiago, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season.
