Kennedale and Ferris are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Kennedale and four for Ferris.

Kennedale fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Godley on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Godley by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Ferris fell victim to Life Waxahachie and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Mustangs.

Kennedale's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Ferris, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-3.

Kennedale came out on top in a nail-biter against Ferris when the teams last played back in April of 2022, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
