Cambridge had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Hilltoppers: they've now won four in a row.

Cambridge easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-21.

Jill Thompson paced Cambridge's offense, picking up eight kills. Thompson got some help from Addison Jerman and her 15 assists. Ana Lothe controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Cambridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Beaver Dam on the 26th. As for Cambria-Friesland, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Abundant Life on the 26th.
