While Ouachita's win against Taylor wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors escaped with a win on Friday against the Tigers by the margin of a single free throw, 40-39. Those 40 points were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The victory made it two in a row for Ouachita and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 54 points in those games. As for Taylor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Ouachita will host Centerpoint at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taylor, they will head out on the road to challenge Columbia Christian at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
