Baseball Recap: Duchesne Takes a Loss

Duchesne lost against San Juan on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Broncos, falling 17-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rylann Butler was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Duchesne's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-2 (and 4-10 when he doesn't).

Duchesne's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for San Juan, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.
