Pima is a perfect 6-0 against Miami since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Roughriders will look to defend their home field against the Vandals at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Pima had taken St. Johns down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Roughriders took a 16-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redskins.

Although Pima took the loss, they still got scores from Kaden Davis and Rooster Alder.

Meanwhile, Miami fell victim to Glendale Prep Academy and their airtight defense last Thursday. They were beaten by the Griffins 55-0.

Miami now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Pima, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Pima against Miami when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 54-12 victory. Will the Roughriders repeat their success, or do the Vandals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
