Volleyball Recap: Denton Triumphs + How To Watch

Denton lost to Lewisville back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Broncos came out on top against the Farmers by a score of 3-1.

Denton was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (96-94), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-23, 25-22, 28-26.

Kinsey Dean and Sophie Maldonado certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Dean had 12 digs and three aces, while Maldonado had ten digs and two aces.

Denton's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Lewisville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Denton will venture away from home to challenge Irving at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Lewisville, they will take on Hutto in a tournament on Thursday.
