Granger has gone a perfect 8-0 against Mabton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Granger didn't have quite enough to beat Warden and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Mabton lost 3-0 to Tri-Cities Prep on Tuesday.

Mabton's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Granger, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Granger took their victory against Mabton in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
