Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thomson). They enjoyed a cozy 81-66 win over the Glenn Hills Spartans on Friday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Spartans are ranked 440th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Markevion Jones continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 34 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jer'Meer Hatcher, who posted 15 points.

Thomson's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9. As for Glenn Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thomson has already played their next match (against Josey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Glenn Hills has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Laney.
