Volleyball Recap: Ridgedale Starts Season with Win on the Road

Ridgedale had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rockets have posted since September 26, 2024.

Ridgedale took Cardington-Lincoln into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 23-25, 27-29, 15-12.

Hadessah Mills paced Ridgedale's offense, picking up ten kills. Mills got some help from Camryn Thiel and her 30 assists. Richelle Gleespen controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Ridgedale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Wynford on the 20th. Cardington-Lincoln has also already played their next contest (against Northmor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
