Toby Trotter gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Wednesday. Menlo-Atherton had no answer to Trotter as he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Trotter also tossed a walk, which is notable because King's Academy is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 6-8 otherwise.

Trotter's effort led King's Academy over Menlo-Atherton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 220 places lower in California), but they're not letting that get them down.
